sorry for maybe asking something obvious (not following everything in detail), but is 41 based on the kernel used in 1.3? Or does it contain the fixes that went into 1.3?

I'm very happy with 40, btw

I still cannot update to titans v41 via HAM. No updates available. Extras and Extras-Devel repositories are active... Is it just me? I currently have v40 installed.

Edit: ah, now the new kernel showed up :-)

Great to see you back titan

Power42 has 'preparation for usb host', thats to say it isn't in there? I'm on mohammeds modded v40 and haven't had any issues, so am in no rush to upgrade. A few have stated it broke the camera app but I'm skeptical of that being due to fcam not playing nice.

Updated to v42. Is there an updated kernel-power-boot image or multiboot-kernel power package? Wondering what will happen if I reboot?

*EDIT* Nevermind. Downloaded the new v42 deb, extracted the fiasco image, extracted the kernel, copied to N900, setup a new multiboot item. Reboot, looks like I'm up and running on v42 kernel.

You could also just do a "dmesg" to find that error.. no need for sysklogd although it might come in handy in other cases. Good to see that you solved it.

Power42 kernel showed up in app manager updates for Extras-Testing. Updated from v37, everything seems to run fine at 1Ghz + lv profile, same as I was using with v37.

Nice!
