If we could run wayland on x (the reverse of xwayland)...

ever heard of nemo?

seriously its way more likely we see silica in nemo than harmattan. Simply because nemo runs qt5 and wayland already.

Yes Mikey I was of course speaking of putting Sailfish's UX on top of Nemo. Harmattan is dead!

Thats what the Jolla engineer says in the first post. Even more, when he wrote that, nemo didn't support wayland and qt5 yet

Would be nice to know what source we should look at to fix the laggy issues on N9.

I personal has not a clue about GFX drivers and Wayland :/

araya.su/sailfish/sailfish_n9_[sdk].tar.bz2
Installing same as nemo, bcoz it is nemo. You will need latest version of ubiboot, and
G_OS3_INIT_CMDLINE_APPENDS="vram=6m omapfb.vram=0:6M"
in ubiboot.conf

I hope it works.

So a decently working sailfish image for the n9/50 is getting closer. No need to be able to make calls and stuff. Video, audio, usb and wlan would be just fine for me. And by decently working I mean that the gui should not be insanely slooow because of software rendering.
