Tablet: 770
Phone: Nokia 6680
Carrier: Orange UK
Data Plan.

Works well as modem.
One problem: Transfering files between phone and tablet no longer works (via File Manager) - error "Connection not supported by Phone". This used to work, but stopped working after applying update on phone or tablet (not sure which one caused the problem, I updated both phone and tablet. I think it it stopped working after I installed OS2006 but I can't be sure)

Tablet: n800
Phone: Treo 650, Unlocked GSM (unbranded)
Carrier: Cingular unlimited data plan
Connection: Bluetooth DUN

Works like a charm! I just can't receive calls while I am connected. My next phone will need to do BT DUN and have the ability to talk calls while using the data feature.

I have been unable to connect my N800 via my Samsung I320 smartphone (Vodafone UK). Has anyone succeeded with this phone?

Tablet: N800
Phone: Samsung A900m (also branded as A900+, SPH-A900M); CDMA
Service provider: Sprint
Data plan: Power Vision (a.k.a EV-DO) access--unlimited phone browsing
Connection: Bluetooth dial-up networking

Notes:
I disabled NAI to make it more difficult for my service provider to tell if I'm "tethering" to my N800 or laptop. You can look up how to do this on sprintusers.com, but you'll need your MSL/unlock code. If your tablet doesn't already have the settings for Sprint, you should tell it to dial #777 and use your vision username / password.
I pull about 300kbps on average.

Tablet: N800
Phone: Treo 700p
Service Provider: Verizon Wireless
Data Plan: Unlimited data service with DUN turned on.
Connection: Bluetooth dial-up networking

Notes:
Works really well I have yet ot have a problem with it. I'm just up-set that Verizon Wireless charges extra for DUN via Bluetooth.
