Ok, here comes the new task for August:
Shoot pictures of water or things in and on water or simply just wet things - preferable female bodies - but anything else is as well valid.

Rules:
Photos must be taken during this month (August 2022) and posted before voting starts (photos must be taken between announcing the theme and starting the voting).
Photos must be taken by the posting member.
Photos must be taken with your phone's camera.
Post processing is allowed but you have to say what you did.
Users must name the phone and software they used.
Users post only one photo per entry.
Users can change the entry only once.
3 day voting period starts on August 29th at 22:00 UTC and ends at 22:00 UTC on August 31st.
The winner of the vote will have the honour to choose the next month competition theme.
You are allowed to continue off-topic on this thread after competition.

Recently i had to be schooled into now knowing that water is and can not be wet, but only things in contact with water get or are wet.
And i learned to not trust my daughter without search engine recheck

reading the science article, i think it is not impossible that water is wet itself. At least, if it is frozen.

There has been a lot of discussion here on the "is water wet?" topic. It was fun. Could we start again, please?

I know there is a water shortage this summer. But that it is that critical, that there is not enough for a picture....

Damn, I nearly forgot about the competition. And now it's too late, we are going away for a week.

Jolla 1, Scotland, 27 August 2022. No editing but opened and saved in Paint to get rid of the rotation flag because TMO displayed it sideways otherwise.

Its hard to say if its a female body without having a male to compare
Females are usually longer and can exceed 70cm while males stay smaller than that.
From the relatively small fin, i gather its a male when comparing to photos of females.
Anyway, this european eel was still wet. As was the river rhine bank where i saw it washed a shore from a freak-bow-wave caused by a passing container ship.
Saw it from some 50 meters away. When i got there, the scene had mostly dried up from the glaring sun and 34°C.
I mean to have seen it twitch while approaching.
But no sign of life anymore when i took my wifes Xperia X for the shot.
Forgot my prawn eggs in the car sadly.
I am most proud about the legal use of portrait orientation

Taken on Xperia X 5121, no edits.
