Hi,

is there any easier way install os2008 to mmc card than first flash it to device an then copy whole s*it to card?
I'm pissed of because every flashing brokes bootloader and takes lot of time.

Easiest way is unpack image to lin ws an write straight to card?

use penguinbait's console tools http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=25714
install it, run xterm type pbeasy and press enter .
You have to partition first (I used 128FAT/128SWAP for my 2GB card, using pb's numbers in the old clone to SD post)
For other cards
1GB 64/64
4GB 256/256
6GB 384/384
8GB 512/512
then you clone, and tada.....you have your OS cloned.
If you reflash your system, install Console tools again and install bootmenu.
I hope this works for you.
I'm guessing that if you do it once, you can copy each partition to your computer and just format the card, and copy every part. Not sure if it would work, though.

that looks interesting tool, but cloning is not problem.
What i want to do is unpack nokia's rom image straight to card. Whitout istalling it first to flash.
Now i must broke existing working stuff on flash for installing os to card. There must be some easy way to put os to card? Maybe virtual hw like qemu or something?
