Is there any FAQ on use of the n900 while unconnected? (Eg roaming in a country you don't want to pay for the data plan)...

grr requires online connectivity - is there an offline rss reader that is decent? The built in one seems to choke for me on too many feeds.

email client - seems to download the headers only and then prompts to download the email when you click on it. Anyway around that?

Flash games seem to generally want connectivity - is there a way to download them and play directly on the device?

Nokia Maps will download and then constanly prompt you for a data connection - is there anyway to disable this?

gpodder works well offline as well as online

Any other applications available that make caching of content possible?

Please post on ways you use your n900 while not connected.

Maemo mapper allows offline openstreet maps
https://garage.maemo.org/projects/maemo-mapper/

Its pretty good even its in dev.

Also people have figured out a way to preload Nokia maemo maps
http://maemoarena.com/2010/03/how-to...in-nokia-n900/

Or you can use my technique which is just to look at all the locations you plan to go to and the phone will cache them.

Cheers
