Good find. Previous version was
RX-44_2008SE_1.2007.42-18_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin
I guess I'll have to try it out, just for the heck of it.

Thanks for the feedback. I am hesitating only so as to avoid repeating the reinstall applications process when we are quite close now to the final release.

Unless this is the final release?

Well the new OS 2008 sports an improved backup/restore utility.
It'll now ask you to backup also the list of applications you've installed so far and, when restoring, it'll re-install them all.

It's, actually, a very good opportunity to test this greatly welcome feature!

PS: speaking of applications, the Application Manager now does not loose the position when re-freshing the list of apps after an update/install/removal (in OSes <= 2007 it was always starting from the beginning of the list. Very annoying.)

This was something already in 42-18.

In fact I did not say 42-18 but OS2008.
I did test it in 42-18 as I didn't want to flash twice, but I am going to try it now.

You think they're going to provide a changelog for firmware we're not even supposed to have or use?
