Is there a simple version of a word processor that works with the nokia n800...I have downloaded a couple but was not the right version or compatible with the current upgraded OS

The built in "Notes" program appears to save as HTML (aka, supports some sort of Rich Text). I will soon be updating AbiWord for the N800, however, you can use the existing 770 version with a few caveats (loading DOC files doesn't work (other formats ok), program will close/crash if you let the N800 fall asleep or click to the right of the margin)

Hope this helps!

Hey Ryan,

Any idea when the N800 Abiword will be ready? Not trying to pressure you--I have a pretty important need for a reliable word processor in the next little bit on the N800. So I'm just trying to figure out of the N800 is going to work or if I should sell it and get something else. Thanks for your work on this!

If you use the Notes thing, it does HTML, which you can load with AbiWord on your desktop and make into a doc real easy - I just did it
