no as the n8x0 builds dont do dual boot (cant keep maemo working properly and have nitdroid but all that is required is flashing between kernels. at moment i have froyo booting but its not stable (crashes every couple of mins - i think down to the older kernel i use, may try with 2.6.28 shortly but its going to wipe out any chance of audio support on n800 (n810 should be ok in theory still)

Why?Isn't N800 and N810 exactly same basic hardware (processor, chipset, lcd, sound, etc)?

Nearly but on n810 touchscreen and sound chips are different.. n800 routes sound through touch screen controller and said controller is not fully alsa compatible

what is the difference between donut 1.6 and froyo 2.2 on the n810? any changes for the N810?

n8x0 isn't my primary Dev device for now. and since haven't got time to redo a kernel its waiting for nwo

So steve when can we expect froyo "treat" for n810. The Maemo solution is half baked for me and i wanna get hands on android asap!

Sorry DJ_Steve but that 'temporarily' more and more seems like 'completely'... On the other hand, I can understand that - You're not paid for that so there is also no obligation to work on that...

Anyone interested in old and obsolete N810 in great condition? I have no use for it, it's ran over by time...
