the Titan Kernal. if so I trying to understand how i use my pc to download things to the N900 . Also can someone point me to the right direction to start reflashing so i can install the kernal ? Thanks ahead of time !

Titans Power kernel doesnt need a reflash to install.

It will install and reflash for you directley out of the repo's, if you dont like it also installs an unistall application in the applications menus which removes titans kernel and re-installs the stock kernel.

Dont remove the power kernel through HAM as this will require a kernel re-flash!

it says on the download app that i should use the application manager to uninstall . is this still correc or you can do it know. ? One last question . and you probly answered it all ready.. So i download the Titan and i will be able to overclock, no need to do anything else or i still need to make the paremeters .. I looked on the wiki and lots of info there. so i just taking baby steps to get this done. Thanks for the help !

Presuming you have rootsh already installed open X-term and type:

kernel-power will be installed as a dependancy of kernel-power-settings.

right, from the top then:

If you have installed rootsh then either or will effectively give you root access, ie; make you superuser, whatever you want to call it.

Then go for and Xterm will then install kernel-power as a dependency.

Once you are all installed close and open Xterm again and go for the following. Replace (lower) and (higher) with numbers, would suggest 250 700 to start and then move up in increments of 50 on the higher setting. I run mine at 250 1000.

Then you can load the voltage profiles - ideal (ideal, obviously), lv (low voltage), xlv (extra low voltage), and ulv (ultra low voltage);

Test them with processor intensive tasks - youtube is good, gaming is another good one, and when it gets unstable revert back to the previous setting.

Once you have a setting you like you can save it to a profile;

Where (name) is whatever you want to call the profile. You can then load the profile on call

Or even set it to load on boot of your device;
