thanks man...i think the cables are damaged.....do you think i can get the spares from a normal mobile spares store or do i have to order it online...
also what do you think i should with the accelerometer problem..?

i had a problem last week with my n9....the accelerometer and the proximity sensor was not working and i tried to repair it on my own...(read somewhere that if i remove the battery and switch it on after sometime the acceleromer will start working.)...
Now even though the display turns on it doesnt respond to touch.....i am stuck on the part where you enter the time and date.../
any advice??
