Anyone have a recommendation on a good hard case for the N900 and a screen protector? I dropped it again today (Still no damage or scratches) but I'm pretty sure my luck is going to run out soon.

I bought this and it works as it should. The top part is feeling kinda loose but no real problem. I even got a screen protector with it, kinda strange considering the already low price.

Stay away from the above cases! They break and the only damage my n900 has suffered was because of these. They scratch!

PDair makes a pretty good rubberized hard case. Also, there is a thread on the nureve leather cases, but if you drop it that much you may need something more like the rubberized hard case

These are reviews that I've done for hard leather cases for the nokia n900:
http://www.symbianoasis.com/2010/01/...rotection.html

both are good, check out the links for pics and more in-depth details.
You could also search this technology news site for some cases, they usually review good one's occasionally..
and if you feel like thanking me, there's a button for that below =)

I've tried this and this. The second one was a failure for two reasons: It came unprotected and was malformed by the postal carrying and it had a bug: the holes at the left side were upside-down, covering the proximity sensor all the time (!).

The first case is the one I'm currently using. While a but bulky, it is beatifull and has succeeded in protecting N900 from a fall, wine, whiskey, water and dust. I really like that case. However, all cases of that kind cover the face of N900 meaning that you cannot see the notofication light without taking the phone out.

I've also tried the ebay's case but I didn't like it. It makes the phone look ugly and big and it makes it hard to press at the top-left corner.

How long did it take you to get the shipment from PDair? Where are you located?

Has anyone tried the PDair aluminum case for the N900? http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product...ducts_id=27477.

I have this case for 2 weeks now. http://shop.fitbag.de/folk-schwarz-h...nach-mass.html
I like it very much, its not a hard case but it protects very well. I like the leather I dont know if they have a englisch site but they ship worldwide, its a german shop.
