is it possible to record a video like Snagit on Windows?

Video of what I see on my Jolla screen.

Thanks

You mean a screencast?

You might able to use VNC on Jolla while connecting on the PC. So you can see the screen on Windows. And use any capture program on Widows to record the screen. But the framerate will be a bit slow though..

I kind of doubt there'll be a whole lot of new Sailfish apps at least in the near future. However, you could probably use GStreamer to perform video (and audio) tasks. I posted an example of the GStreamer command I'm using in the Maemo app Orecchiette in this post:

You should probably be able to do something similar in Sailfish...

You can use my app SailCast (linked above) with VLC media player to record the screen.
