Hey guys!

I am looking at internet radio options on N810 and would like to know:

How does Slacker radio site performs on N810. Has anyone tried the slacker webplayer on N810? I would think since the webplayer is a stripped down version of the slacker.com, streaming performance might be better on webplayer(?).

How about Pandora?

I would like to try out Spotify, but it's not here in US yet.

I am aware of Canola/Vagalume/Last.fm. But I wanted to know what are other options for streaming radio on N810.

I really hope Slacker (webplayer) works.
Thanks for your time!

One option for streaming radio on your N810 is Streamtuner:

Hope that helps.

Apparently not, but that is based solely on information from this thread.

Vagalume might be worth a look.

Welly well well
Shook the dust off this old thread.
want to play some internet radio on the old n800/n810 beasties in 2015?
The old stand-bys still work.
One is via kmplayer...
install kmplayer and browse on over to icecast stream section ..try out a few in kmplayer and see which ones wish to play...save your favourite xspf to a folder ...open kmplayer and bottom open the folder icon and play your xspf.
Another is that blast-from-the-past ...streamtuner...yup still works...still goin' strong ...and streamripper still works dandy with it too.
I do suggest going into the drop down menu and selecting preferences and changing "listen to a .m3u file" from xmms to "stlaunchm3u %q" .....
oh yeah and while in preferences ...may as well disable shoutcast while you are there...it is loooonnnng gone...so no point in having it enabled.
Another oldie is xmms bottom left on the playlist menu buttons should pop up the add "url" menu...typing requires something like a matchbox keyboard ...but hey...add what urls you like and away you go.
Lotsa fun.
Of course there is the new oscp and screamer radio (the saved screamer presets file ...(though a fabulous addition)...are getting a bit long in the tooth though kot ...quite a few don't work...mind screamer itself is in need of a tune-up as it's own presets are getting a little worn...but even still ...it beats the hell out of listening to myself mumble...
I don't think I'm forgetting any (functional or even semi-functional) streaming internet radio program for the n800/n810.

@endsormeans: all you need is 'update stations' icon on desktop. some kind of script that would browse available icecast stations and save urls into .m3u file. or if you remind me i might think of adding icecast searching to oscp itself (and maybe other services as long they have http browseable listings)
