Unfortunately, this is not working for me either. The device continues to stay in the reboot loop. I wonder if Kernel Power .45 which I have installed has anything to do with this failing to work?

Hi,
According to this thread, it appears my problems are due to my battery being depleted of charge. Let's see if I can find a nice soul at the Nokia booth at CES in Vegas to allow me to recharge my battery.

Sure enough, as soon as one of the great people at Nokia's booth at CES hooked me up with a charge of my battery, I was able to reflash and get control of my N900! w00t!

I have a similar problem, also installing tweego.
Nevertheless I have the impression that it could be a problem with the hcsd card.
Check the description of the problem in this thread.
Try to restart the device without the memory card, or without the back cover.
