First post, so I figured I'd bring at least something with me, here.

I've been searching everywhere for some panoramic wallpapers, something that would seamlessly wrap around, but I haven't had much luck. Recently, I learned how to make panoramic wallpapers from game screenshots, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a few.

I made a couple from Mirror's Edge so far, I'll link to one of them (it's a full 3200x480 panorama): http://i49.tinypic.com/2u8kt2a.jpg

Would anybody be interested?

EDIT: Since there's interest, I'm going to start posting some of these right at the top, here!

Each one of these comes with the images in a 'wallpapers' folder, and a .desktop for it. This will all go in .images, when you connect the N900 to Mass Storage. The images are hidden from the Image Viewer, don't worry! And now, the goods!

I just finished up another one. Again, this guy's from Mirror's Edge, you can find it here: http://i49.tinypic.com/289hdf6.jpg

Does anybody want me to upload the pre-cut images and .desktop files? I put all of these right in my images folder, so I've got everything set if they go directly in that folder.

(It's a dropbox link, I really need to find some more permanent online storage.)

The ZIP file has both images I've posted here so far. The .desktop files assume that everything's going to be in the images folder.

The actual images are contained in a wallpapers folder, and start with dots so that way the image viewer doesn't detect them. I tested it this way and it works. Just make sure the images stay in the wallpapers folder!

EDIT: Just so everyone knows, I'm taking requests! If there's a certain area in Mirror's Edge, or if there's another game you want me to try to get wallpapers of, just ask! I've got a handful of Source games (HL2 series, Portal, TF2), and I should be able to do the same thing that I'm doing now in any other Unreal Engine 3 game.

I use Pixelpipe on the N900 with Dropbox to upload images, then I can wipe them from the phone and have a backup!
