A very rare and nice prototype.

Amazing old kernel version.

Anybody can find what is it? according to this picture.

Maemo is Harmattan, Harmattan is Maemo 6, as collector I thought you know that.

As it shows maemo 2 in your picture, it's likely to be some successor to 770.

N900/Maemo 5 also uses Linux 2.6.28. "-maemo2" is the kernel EXTRAVERSION name and does not necessarily refer to the Maemo version. Based on the kernel version and build date, I'd guess that it's based on Fremantle or an early version of Harmattan (Maemo 6, pre-MeeGo). It could be a Columbus/RM-581, Dali/RM-680 (N950) or RM-660.

Good luck booting the OS without an initrd!

maemo2 is only suffix of kernel. Doesn't have to mean it's the maemo2 version. Just like N900 kernel does have omap1 suffix for the kernel....

So this is the second version of the kernel adapted for maemo.

n950 finally over the years got Columbus, everyone here must be prepared for pack of super ultra ripped pics, lol.
