OK, i will give a try again without this chinook repos and post here again.

Anyone with this strange issue with the osso-pdf-viewer or are just the Brazilian guys?

EDIT: If you want someone to test your "f*ckin dangerous" alpha-beta packages, i'll proud to test it.

Not me. But then again, I'm doing everything "by the book" and not trying to get creative!

Haha, but i think i've discovered the point: I had activated the Chinook repos, upload it to a server, and all brazillian guys downloaded it. I think its my fault, but, no one would tell them, ok?

No i'll test the SSU without the Chinook apps, to see if the osso-pdf-viewer dependence goes away. And, BTW, how the next version of SSU would be called? And, when gonna be release? Please, tell me to tell these Brazillian guys, i guess they wanna kill me after this little accident.

Best Regards

Umm I read that screen rotation was supposed to be in this. Is that the case? If so how do I activate it?

rotation is manual only. Try installing advanced backlight, it should give a 4 buttons with a A on it for direction reference.

I just did a fresh flash on my old N810, enabled community SSU repository, and discovered this exact same missing application package issue (osso-pdf-viewer).

I do reside in USA...

I think this is a wonderful idea, as more and more of "full" versions of web pages (certainly many of Google's) are being developed under the assumption that they will run on a browser with JS optimization and a computer with a modern desktop or laptop processor. Therefore, our mobile browsers are getting left more and more behind.

I wonder -- would JS optimization be too processor- &/or memory-intensive to work well on the N8X0? Would this be easy to test?
