Well, at some point, jokingly suggesting things that could harm someone's device is not cool, because they might misunderstand and do it; but I think when you discuss direct physical damage, as opposed to the "format c:" type of thing, even the most clueless noob/troll (which become indistinguishable, asymptotically...) can figure it out.
Anyway, I guess I don't see it as being offensive material; I can see how you'd disagree, but not why you'd be offended. Oh well, I'll pass on some advice from a friend...
Oh, and I agree with qwerty12; anyone stupid enough to use Karel as a role model deserves the end result.
