not exactly about sailfishos, but I'd like to talk about Viber.

So, it works well on Sailfish.
It created contact list automatically.

That sux.
That's why I've deactivated an account, deleted my adressbook files in .local/share/system/...
so that viber won't take my contacts.

I wanted to add the contacts I wanted only.

The only technical problem I had, I could not add contact by number
I had to make a missed call and we've added each other by making those missed calls.

Whatever, now my addressbook is empty. If I add any contact with phone number to abook, it'll appear in viber. Which I don't want.

Of course true solution would be to not use viber.

I wonder if there's a possibility to prevent dalvik to see my addressbook?
Or may be if I move phone numbers to some other field, like Bio, then viber won't see my contact's numbers?

Or may be it'll take emails and create me a contact list based on emails?

How FLOSS friendly is it ?

it's a stupid proprietary program. with stupid design.
