Oh, you are so right.
Just retested the one address I was struggling with last time (few weeks/month(s) ago).
And I got perfect hits now entering in any order, comma-separated as well as without. As well as part of street only and local district name gives correct result.

So, perfectly working now!
Thx

For me search works quite well, when I have an exact address, but it struggles sometimes, if I have just a town name.

Same here. Almost as if whoever implemented the routing never imagined the "I want to go to somewhere in Upper Beyond, I don't care where exactly" use case (since Upper Beyond is a small village anyway).

There are just too many of those: https://www.openstreetmap.org/search...Upper%20Beyond

But sorting via admin level, when implemented on OSM Scout Server side, will help

There was a bug filed yesterday by @eikel regarding crashes on Sony Xperia X 3.0.1.11, see https://github.com/rinigus/pure-maps/issues/168

I wonder, whether other Sony X users see something similar?

No problem for X and X_Compact(steph's kernel).

New release is out: 1.16.0

Them main work was porting Pure Maps to Kirigami - KDE Plasma QML modules (https://www.kde.org/products/kirigami/). This is now main toolkit for Linux desktop and will be further developed to support mobile Linux distros in future. Port is not complete in respect of what I would like it to look like. Many upcoming features and polishing depend on git master of Kirigami or Kirigami's development branches. In this respect, very interesting experience to work with actively developed toolkit where your feedback is taken into account and the changes are made within hours/days. Kirigami build is somewhere in Flathub pipes, not sure why its not published yet - maybe some issue with the servers.

For Sailfish, changes are relatively small. There is a fix for layout issues, as reported over here, for route information that is shown before starting navigation. Mapbox GL navigation maps are updated and there are separate styles that are expected to be used for preview and navigation.

Translations have been updated, as usual, great work by translators!

PS: If anyone feels like it - the banner for Pure Maps is missing. Also the navigation icon should be considered as a placeholder.

Edit: Flathub version is updated as well

Hey all!

Very cool App, but my hometown cannot found by offline navigation in pure Maps on sailfishOS:

51598 Friesenhagen (Germany)

https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?query=Friesenhagen

https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/422324

For example the following adress couldn't found:

Wintert 11, 51598 Friesenhagen

https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/548305342

Is it a Tag-problem?

OT: Nice to meet a Sailfish User living under 30km from my Place, we should meet sometime!
On Topic: Friesenhagen is found via Photon search for me, exact adress is found, too

OSM Scout Server does not find it, true... Really akward, because it works in Photon..
