Guys,

I've compiled FUSE - Spectrum Emulator for our tablets. It's not hildonized but it has gtk2 ui and works ok (n810 or bt keyboard is a must though as it does not work well with xkbd). It depends on libspectrum and libdsk which I have also provided. The packages are very rudimentary. They can be downloaded from:

That's pretty funny. Anyone remember a Spectrum game that featured the River of Venom, which I now call the freeway that crosses Mulholland in the L.A. area? You also had to avoid giant cockroaches.

Unfortunately, I think those old games are buried several strata below the civilization I live in now.

This might be a good time to mention my spectrum emulator:

http://my.arava.co.il/~matan/770/maemus/maemus_0.1.deb

It only emulates 48K spectrum, and is less accurate than fuse, but it is faster
and has on screen keyboard.

It also has per snapshot hardware keys configuration.

Yay! This is great news, as I couldn't get the Fuse port to install on 770.
Will I need any other libraries, or is everything in the .deb ?

For 770, use this deb:

BTW, the source is also in this directory.

Yay, it works! And what a neat-looking emulator with a nice keyboard!
What formats does it take tap/zxs/txz/scl/sna/z80/dsk ?
I've tried a few, but most I've gotten is a garbled loading graphic followed by a quick reset. Have you found any images that worked with it?
