Is there any documentation out there on what N810 device needs what version of the flash image?
1. Standard Wi-Fi version
2. Prototype Wi-Max version
3. Production Wi-Max model

I see the production models are now just starting to hit the market....but the Wi-Max prototype that I have is not recognized by the Tablet updater or even the tablet OS Dev site (http://tablets-dev.nokia.com)
Too paranoid to brick the device if I use the wrong version.....any tips to get the proto Wi-Max to the latest version of Diablo ??
And does the RX # (RX-34 etc.) determine which device to use that on ??
Currently have a US Wi-Max proto if that makes a difference..

This issue has been discussed previously in the fora. Prototype tablets aren't supported by publicly released firmware. The firmware you need, Nokia restricts to employees and select, NDA-restricted external developers. You may be able to force the flashing of the public WiMAX Edition firmware on your tablet, but yes, if memory timings or the like are different, you risk bricking your device.
