Was trying to get the Ricoh Theta S app to work on my Sony, so far without success. Was searching but cannot find which version of Android is on the Sony Sailfish X. I find old threads saying the tablet version of AD is 4.4 Android, but older Jolla phones only 4.1 The Theta app requires 4.4, so I am guessing it is older. Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions? Does connecting to another device's wifi like this work within AD at all?

AD have no permissions to control your connections. You can try to connect manually using sfos menu and then back to your app.
