Hello maemo people.. I wounder is it possible to rename apps? well like:
Open Media Player
Conky
CuteTube
FaceBrick
and other good apps

yes , you must edit the .desktop file in
/usr/share/applications/*.desktop
* is a shortcut name off the app

I'm not expert with xterm, but

chmod 777 filename works for me.

Change the "Name=xyz" field to "Name=myapplicationname"
