Phone starts up an is fully functional but most of the time the display is fully green, no image or anything...
Its for someone who can repair or use for spares.
Excellent physical conditions.

Nokia N9 White (64GB RARE Finland version fully working
but needs a display change)
Condition is fair enough.I would rate it 7.5/10
some nicks on corners.
The sim tray is slightly broken on one side but nonetheless works perfectly.

The phone is flawlessly working but just the display.

Quick reply...

If it was Nokia N950 or Blackberry Passport, I would have got it immediately; I'm selfish :-) .

Since it's Nokia N9... I'll try to get it working from afar.

Do you have ssh access to it, so that you would be able to do something despite green display?

Is there a way to disable hardware acceleration and-or update display drivers? They are the most common 'solutions' offered for Green video (like, in Flash or on Youtube).

Is there something wrong with gstreamer-plugins or whatever?

Best wishes.
[Edit]
P.S. Is it possible to output N9 display onto an external screen (like, TV) to see whether the Green would be seen on TV, too?

o man, @ wikiwide,

i am impressed by the clamor of jargon you used.

I am a complete noob in stuff like this.

I have tried changing the display from N9 of my friend and it worked flawlessly.

but its just the display that needs a change.

Regards

I am complete noob, too... I am just DuckDuckGoing ;-)

Ook... It's likely the first time I hear that a hardware problem makes a display completely green, and a different display solves the problem.

So, why don't you buy a display for N9, change the display, and use N9? This white unicorn seems to be very beautiful...

I am not in India, so I can neither buy it, nor recommend a good repair place to have the display replaced (if you are unsure in your own display-replacing skills).

[Edit]
And please change the title so that it would be clear that:
1. It's a WHITE Nokia N9 - the unicorns are eye-catching ;-);
2. You are SELLING it.

Even though "no international shipping" does not help...
It would still attract more attention :-)
[/Edit]

Best wishes.

Quick question...

Would you ship to Australia, for example? Or is international shipping completely out of question?

Thank you. Best wishes.

Yes it is possible to output N9 display onto an external screen (like TV) with the analogue Adapter "Nokia CA-75U Video out cable" for headphone jack. Standby Screen on 46 inch TV set - nice, Photos , Videos .
