Friends on my school already do that with the Wii Mote... nothing special about it.. and it's even MORE accurate!

try watch the 2 clips again - maybe you'll be able to understand the fundamental difference... and why the method presented at NW is far more interesting.

hmmm .. n900 is better or n8 is ?

Obviously n900 could become better if Nokia hadn' abandoned it or have they abondoned it because they have no idea what to do with it.

N8 seems to interesting, atleast in video, not sure whether it will start freezing soon or little later

the e7 does powerpoint - which isn't the n8 but is pretty close

Go somewhere with a digital tv and do your presentation - I guess you would need some sort of stand for the camera but that has got to be easier than carrying around a laptop

Can't you do the same thing with a device with a similar spec?

All you need is a decent on-board camera, tv-out and an app to do the proecessing.

Looks very clever though and a nice selling point.

I like Nokia research they do cool stuff.

I guess it could... except you really, really need a 12MP camera to reliably interpret the gestures. I don't think so, though.
