OK, so this is massively off-topic, but I'm hoping that someone here knows more about this than I do and is able/willing to help me.

If I have the following:
  • XML containing data
  • XSLT containing styling for that XML

It displays in Internet Explorer OK on my PC, but gives "Access denied" when I move it anywhere else.

I have made sure files and directories are writable. Sometimes touching the XML files causes the error to disappear (perhaps this fools Windows/IE into thinking that the file is locally sourced or something?)

All suggestions welcome (but please do not suggest that I move away from XML/XSL/Internet Explorer combo; I wish I could, but I don't have a choice).

If you need further info to have a go at diagnosing this issue, please let me know and I'll do my best to provide it.

Hoping TMO can come to the rescue...!

2.5 years later and I'm still interested in this. Anyone?
