How can I utilize the Jolla SDK so simply crosscompile command line apps such as mutt, pine or tin for SailfishOS?
Would be amazing if someone could point me to a straight forward description.
Thanks in advance!

start Mer VM, login to mer, then login to internal sb2 target and now you can just ./configure && make

Ok. Thank you. That was just so straight forward that I didn't consider this opportunity before Having all the build tools at hand ON the phone is somewhat entirely different to adding packages to OpenWRT e.g. Worked instantly and I now have mutt with gpg-support on my Jolla phone
I may consider building an rpm if there is interest.
