So don't be sad to see him move on but be happy you got to know another kindred soul

if it had been some exotic hacker device or even an Android device of some sort, i could have understood that you let go of the N9s or even a N950... but an iPhone, by all means...
my N9 will never replace the N900 as my primary, but compared to an iPotato device
could give me 400 bucks to take one of those, i'd still go w/ the N9
certainly a white one

was that another Arie all along

hope you find what you are looking for with an apple device

misterc,

When you are banned from TMO successively for defending developers while many trolls abound, you do wonder if its worth it eventually...

I mean this in terms of you asking if it was the same person all this while...

considering the time it took to get Estel banned (permanently), one can't help wondering, indeed
then again, i was banned a couple times because i got caught in trollish turmoil's, but those were the early day
well, for me, at least

more then the banning, maybe it is the realisation that Maemo it not the hacker platform it used to be, where folks around here didn't have to worry about anything but... code.

those days are gone, indeed

at least that's what everybody assumes...

is Estel really permanently banned?

So it isn't just a certain period of time ban?

you tell me...
Estel and
Letsee
later was the account he opened after being banned to go on rambling... not even trying to hide it was him

EDIT: i suspect he has already a couple more accounts that he was using more discretely, but... unless Reggie goes checking the IP addresses (which might not even help...) guess they'll stay on.

Yup I know of the accounts; I was the first one to report about it in the by-laws thread (after he first posted on someone who was adding a lens to the n900 thread)

I just didn't know it meant a permanent ban for him...

Edit: As long as he doesn't spread FUD around he can have an additional how many ever accounts he likes it won't make a difference

Arie, you sure you want to let the n950 go now?

Schturman is going to release a new version of N9QT for n950 in the next few days...You want to leave with a defeat to the stock apps?

Screw the n950 with N9QT then sell it away later when its totally spent

Ever heard of demand and supply?

Its his own n950; not given by Nokia so he too must have parted with a princely sum for it...
