How could I check if openssl is working as it should? Or what would be the piece of software that is responsible of streaming and/or connecting to server? "No connection to server" with playback but cnnected when I download.

For looking the video gstreamer is involved and gstreamer uses libsoup for ssl connection. Reinstall or reconfigure libsoup.
Libsoup needs libgnutls26 and libgnutls26 needs libtasn1-3.
Check these packages...

Use the updated libsoup here in the forum from freemangordon.

This probably don't help you, but I just wonder the amount of work you have done to get it work. I mean, if I remember correctly, I have just plain CSSU Testing without any manually installed SSL/TLS/QT/whatever packages. And nevertheless my cutetube works with freemangordon's gyoutube and libsoup package. So I find it quite interesting that you have manually installed a lot of stuff and done some configuring etc and still no success.

And for another reason (security reason) I need now to reflash my device. But I'm more annoyed that I haven't figured out why it won't work 'cause nothing now prevents me from ending up in the same situation. Which version of cutetube you have installed?

Where is this supposed to be used and for what

/usr/bin/ffmpeg -i \"%f\" -vn -acodec copy \"%f\".ma4

I have now
reflashed
installed cssu testing
installed cutetube2
installed freemangordons qyoutube -2 version (made downloading work)
installed freemangordons libsoup (no connection to server on playback)
installed libssl 1.1 (no connection to server)
checked with dpkg -s that libqt4-core and libqt4- networking iis right one)
Have tried with cutetube, with mediaplayer + reboot, with openmediaplayer as default player.

Still trying.

Edit: Haven't yet got answer does something from freemangordons files enable automatically back TLS 1.2 and 1.1 which he said libsoup disables - or do I have to do it myself and if so how?

Now tried with the dpkg script freemangordon somewhere gave for libsoup. Tried it and got this:

/home/user/MyDocs/cuteTube2 # dpkg -i $DOWNLOAD_DIR/libsoup2.4-1_2.30.2-1+squeeze1+0m5_armel.deb
dpkg: error processing /libsoup2.4-1_2.30.2-1+squeeze1+0m5_armel.deb (--install):
cannot access archive: No such file or directory
Errors were encountered while processing:
/libsoup2.4-1_2.30.2-1+squeeze1+0m5_armel.deb

Anyone?
