These are different architectures. N900 uses armel.
armhf is mostly a raspberry pi thing, I guess.
I thought this is not possible, but a quick search suggests to look into "Multiarch".

Slight correction - N900 CPU supports armhf (and typically when running alternative distros, e.g. postmarketOS and Maemo Leste).

However, Maemo Fremantle is set for armel.

OP, what armhf package are you looking to run?
