And where is the actual download? I don't buy something when there is no evidence that it's really working with SFOS.
It works, but nothing is available for download yet mostly due to a few outstanding bugs and packaging the install into something easy instead of having to hack around in telnet before you can get it to work.

And I hear something is going down at the Fairphone development talk at FOSDEM in a few weeks for anyone here interested thats attending.

A nice article and some insights about fairphone and jolla, and especially the (amazing) community behind the port. The current situation of SFOS on FP is nice but prospects for more may come too (like a validated public version with easy steps to migrate; even if not officially supported by FP)

Maybe it's not the time to announce official full port yet?

How to "deepen" collaboration while still stick with community port?

I don't see anything wrong or a "rowing back" with what Fairphone wrote. They simply answered the question and said that as of today you can't buy a Fairphone 2 with SFOS preinstalled and there's no official support yet.
They posted two times about the partnership like "Fairphone partners with @JollaHQ.", also a poll about alternative software ports.

So personally I'm pretty sure, that with this partnership we'll get more than "just" community ports - but things aren't ready yet to be announced and/or brought to the market. As an European customer I certainly hope that we will have an official hardware partner for Sailfish OS .

Ok, we're at "Soon" here also. Damn I wish some concrete progress would happen with Jolla soo.. *sigh* in near future.

Edit: Actually I saw a finnish news article where Olivier Hebert from Fairphone stated that "Sailfish for Fairphone is not YET commerically ready for Fairphone" (translated from finnish), so guess it's looking good.
