They sure are speaking about the right things and it sounds really good. Only thing we need now is is to see these things to materialize

Niklas Savander on stage:

-He's an idiot. Tilted me hard in first few sentences. Never let this guy on microphone.

-Magic, wow, boom, amazing, instant. Like strange love child of Steve Jobs and magician in specializing kids birthday parties.

-End this fluff now, please. Imagine the most useless Web 2.0 hype talk, multiply it with two and you have Niklas Savander on stage.

-Nokia has sold over 70 million GPS enabled devices so far.

Alberto bringing new accent on stage, smooth latino sound:

-Prioritizing user experience over feature quantity.

-Quality not just about device failure rates anymore. New metrics about consumer experience.

-One platform alone wouldn't allow Nokia to have global reach.

-Symbian love.

-Maemo very different animal. Computing on the palm of your hand. "Internet first"- platform. Maemo devices to have only the most powerfull hardware. No compromises on hardware.

-Maemo = multi-tasking, power, UI and freedom.

-Maemo 5 has right elements. Maemo 6 will major upgrade that uses best parts of Maemo 5.

-Maemo 6 will bring Maemo to mass markets.

Anssi, Anssi, Anssi!

-3 million touchscreen smartphones sold every month by Nokia.

-Anssi talking about Nokia's factories. Most efficient electronics facilities on planet. He loves Nokia factories. Never mind the recent rumors.

-Fever is better. Less models in future. More focusing.

-Nokia incresing life time value of sold devices with services.

-Total of about 300 million visitors on Nokia's homepage every month.

-Nokia products sold in 650 000 shops around the world. Largest consumer device distribution channel ever on planet Earth.

-Nokia Messaging huge succes, because Nokia works with operators. Some on the market (=Apple, altough he doesnt have guts to say) squeeze profits from operators. Nokia collaborates openly with operators.

-Fewer but bigger marketing campaigns. Digital marketing exceeding TV marketing in 2009. Point of no return. Digital marketing will be primary marketing channel in future. Brand value has gone up thanks to changes in marketing.

-Maemo Summit ("discussing with the geeks") was big part of designing N900 marketing. They are apparently digital leaders.
Not a single penny on traditional marketing for N900 so far. Will be little traditional marketing for N900 later.

-<Fanboism> Nobody says "Connecting people" like Anssi </end fanboism>
