Today I was able to create an account, but reading what you posted DeadHorseRiding, which I've already read on other sites, it would seem that from 24th on we won't be able to use Nokia Maps anymore, and thus won't be able to download new ¿maptiles? to it... I guess... ¬-¬

On N9 Device, Yes,
but no synchronisation of maps favourites on N9 any more

Direct Map Download on my N9 Device broken since about a year,
Download of single countries like Cuba (last) with NokiaSuite (Windows) works? - I do not know.

Try now at first time this from aspergerguy, 13,4 GB delivered with fullspeed.

The only problem is that the Nokia Maps interface won't let me see and choose which maps to keep and which not when downloading directly the map tiles. Do you know for what reason can this be?

Today connected without any nokia account on N9 and in MS-Nokia-Suite with fresh installed latest Nokia Suite 3.8.54 (For Windows, more than 100 MB, now from Microsoft).
Tested on Win7, after installation connected N9 per usb-cable in sync mode - no problems.
Click Maps,
Wait some..... minutes, and than...
only Tunesia was missing, downloaded Tunesia 17,5 MB very fast.

Got really the latest maps from here?

Now got Tunesia Changes 2013?

Anybody already checked data actuality of data from suite compared to here?

I've tried that DeadHorseRiding. It never worked for me. But Maps on the phone did... once. After I've installed Nokia Maps Downloader/Extractor for N9/50 I can't make it work anymore. I've already purged it (the maps versions it offered where outdated), but now every time I want to download and install a map, it fails at the installation.

Is there any way to debug what is happening on the installation of maps...?

[SOLVED]

Starting Maps from the command line as user and then downloading maps worked right away!

Offers Version (seems hardcoded for Wget v0.2.5.103 in script downmaps2.sh) who already is shown in my "About" menu (see screenshot below)

Interesting, got here "segmentation fault", seems need reinstall maps app.

What is shown in your "About" menu, jmo707 after all?

Did you load only some maps or all of them?

v.2.54.223 is displayed now?

Here, I could install .223 version. Directly from Maps! I have only installed my country maps, but tried with another directly from the application (started from menu) and now it works
