Nokia N8 gets a camera update with better UI and video recording

http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_n8_get...-news-3028.php

The recording part of the update (30 FPS, continuous autofocus) has already been achieved by a cooked FW/mod by HyperX. HyperX's mod also included other goodies such as ultra low compression on shots which produced quality very near to RAW. BUT the new UI by NOKIA as I tested it is really appealing to me.

Hmmmmm, now with Belle, and the new UI updates... Can NOKIA's Symbian dominate again?

Nokia N8 looks like it is framed to become a classic.

Now fingers crossed for the come back of "share online" - batch uploading of pictures to popular services w/o need for 3rd party client software and 3rd party user account.

Maybe not dominate, that depends entirely on new devices coming. But Symbian will be with us a long time. 1-2 % global market share is more than enough for a sustainable niche, the global market is gigantic. There is plenty of room for lots of players, but only a few can dominate. The players need to sober up, that's all.
