Hi,

whenever I get an incomming call I'd like to run a little script (which I could write) that will send the incomming number via nc to my home server.

Now I found out that all calls are stored in rtcom-eventlogger database. I dont want to make a program that keeps running in background and polling the events. Is there an easier way of doing this?

BTW. Iam doing this for my land-line on the server machine via syslog-ng. Then incomming calls are displayed on all PCs and the TV set...

Search the wiki for "dbus incoming call" and you'll find an article about exactly this.
