Hi, i wanna try an application which requires qt 4.7.2 with qt quick.

My questions:
- How can I find out which qt versions installed on my device?
- How can I install qt 4.7.2?

Thanks for your answers.

For the first question, dpkg -l | grep qt .

4.7.0 version of qt should be installed, and it's the version libqt4-dev and libqt4-* points to when using autobuilder or latest qtCreator with maemo target. It includes qtquick anyway.

For the second, I have no clue.

QT 4.7.2 is already on your phone....
install PyQt4 Full install from HAM or FAM then you will get QT 4.7.5 on your phone....
forget about what is said (for PR 1.2) it also works on PR 1.3...

Are you sure it requires 4.7.2 (i.e. does it use QtQuick 1.1) ?

PyQt versions have (somewhat confusingly, I agree) nothing to do with Qt versions - PyQt (regardless of it's own version) uses the version of Qt installed - 4.7.0 in the case or PR1.3

I wanna install the app on http://kasvopus.substanceofcode.com/.

I tried to install the "PyQt4 Full install" but the installation canceled cause of unresolved dependency problems

If you have PR 1.3, it works out of the box.

Kasvopus is not a PyQt app, (not) having it installed is not going to change anything (see above, it DOES NOT ALTER Qt VERSIONS).

Why do you believe you need Qt 4.7.2 and that Qt 4.7.0 (already installed on device) is not ok? If this is just about your application doing "import QtQuick 1.0" instead of "import Qt 4.7", try installing "mcsp" and then try your app again.

http://kasvopus.substanceofcode.com/ ....because it says here that you need qt 4.7.2 in order to run kasvopas.it just takes a couple of reboot before it works good thats all.
