I need to remove one small bit that was added to the library and so need to recompile gtk+2.0.
My problem is that when I download the source and apply the patch, the build fails with:
libgtk-x11-2.0.so: undefined reference to '_gtk_hash_table_new'
as well as undefined references to 'gtk_text_buffer_deserialize_rich_text' and 'gtk_text_buffer_serialize_rich_text'
From what I understand, it seems that these are changes that are to be made in the next OS release using gtk 2.8 but the diffs seem to not fit the bora release but are rather taken from some mid-point in the upgrade to 2.8 work being done.
If I'm missing something please instruct me as to how to successfully compile the library. If this cannot be done, I guess I'll just have to wait for the next release in the coming weeks and try building then.
