Bumping icons state - as soon as they are sorted, I'd like to make a next release.

Recap of the state in https://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?...&postcount=513 . Issues of Kirigami port can be addressed later, together with KDE/GNOME artists. But would be great to sort the rest (nearby selection and SFOS styling, search selection).

on my xperia x it also works perfectly.
On XA2 is disabled the proximity sensor due to issues with it during calls. Is it maybe related?
Is there a way to make pure maps verbose to get some logs?

@mosen: just want to let you know that I managed to fix route-from icon for Kirigami as well. So, route icons are fine now

delayed by ProWein *hicks*
Back at it this evening.
Profiles icon is kind of hard and stalled a bit.

We can probably keep profile for now and change a touch later. I can ask for help from KDE or GNOME art teams as well.

So far, not much voting going on. So, let's try to wrap it up:

* Search, we have https://mosushi.de/misc/puremaps/overview8.jpg top left Fellfrosch-approved and current one https://github.com/rinigus/pure-maps...ons/search.svg . The icon on the left middle maybe is a bit too complicated (3D or optics implied) compared to the rest.

* Nearby two options: https://mosushi.de/misc/puremaps/overview8.jpg second row right or bottom left. The both versions were Fellfrosch-approved. I can easily see SFOS version of epicentric circles, but not so clear how to make the bottom-left version for SFOS. From searching online and looking into android apps, looks like not many apps have nearby search defined with icon (although google is using something like location marker, as in epicenter version, and maps.me has binoculars for it). So, no help there either or maybe leaning towards epicenter version.

With Nearby, I am planning at one point to introduce isochrone support concept at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Isochrone). Maybe bottom left is better suited for that?

The rest is not really show stopper, I think. We had already map layer for kirigami posted (but no SVG), would be happy to get that for future. Profile (all OSes) & Shortlist (Kirigami) can be consulted with others as well.

In sum, since there are too few voters (0 to 1), maybe @mosen and @Fellfrosch can make the choice?

I am not voting as I like all your work as well as mosen's and fellfrosch's and other's work. And it is hard to decide what is 'better'.

Hi @rinigus

When it comes to me, I've already talked about my favourites:

Search:
top left (first row) from https://mosushi.de/misc/puremaps/overview8.jpg

Nearby:
bottom left (third row) from the same pic

Both choices of course only if we take mosen's general route with the black and grey icons (I would vote fore that).

For Profile icon I have two Ideas, but unfortunately no time at the moment. I hope I can make some suggestions the next days.

By the way, maybe I can sell in future a certificate:
Fellfrosch-approved

@carlosgonz when I look at mosen's last post I would think that would be more a certificate which fits to him:
In vino VERItas

@mosen I owe still a comment for your last suggestion regarding map layers. For me that is quite good.

@all it's quite sad, that there are so few people which give comments regarding design. I'm sure there are more people using pure maps and enjoy it, if an app looks good and professional. Some comments or ideas (also without drawn icons) would be very welcome.
