Is there a price estimate at this time?

And is one without the camera hole going to be cheaper than one with a hole?

I think one without hole will be more expensive.

From a manufacturing perspective it should be easier to manufacture and require less work (ie: not having to drill a hole in the material), thus making it cheaper. However, Dirk might decide to be a shrewd businessman and place a price on privacy and price it higher as you suggest simply due to the demand.

Or . . . both versions could be priced the same, defying both of these logical arguments.

Just imho extra mm3 of carbon costs more than no carbon in this place

From a manufacturing perspective: if everyone wants 10 custom options instead of everyone gets the same, that makes it more expensive. So if 1 person does not want a camera hole, I have to write special milling code for that single one, hope it does not go wrong and keep it separate. That is a lot of extra work and extra costs.

However, custom options can make a product very appealing -see TOHKBD- and can make a semi-mass-produced product feel more premium and personal.

So it is a trade-off on my side to select which thing I can or should make custom. Please as much people as possible, without causing an enormous amount of extra work to keep the price low.

looked around a bit and having some fresh and funky colours on the inside of the casing seems cool. have yet to find some purple velvet that really pops, but should be out there somewhere.

I dunno if anybody makes covers like these for modern mobile devices...
used the casing a lot in reverse orientation -covering the screen- to use it as a screen protector in my bag. thanks for the good idea!

waiting on some confirmations from jolla's and having some talks with local composite experts, then maybe doing some campaign for this one.
