I have a sony e-reader with an SD card where I store all my books. I often use my laptop or N900 to get my books or papers. They are all saved to a directory which I then sync with the sd card using an rsync script.
The problem is that I use the volume name to rsync. In ubuntu the mount point is the volume name by default so I just rsync with
/media/Books.
but on the N900 it's /media/mmc1.
What can I do to make sure that I always sync with the right mount point regardless of the system I use?
on the N900 I can get the volume label using
mlabel -s E:
But how can I then change the automatic mount point to be the same as the volume label?
