Well, it gets released when it's ready.

So, apparently it's not ready yet. Do you want to have an update that was not ready brick your phone, just to keep a fixed release date?

the problem is not the delayed release itself, it's the silence, oh well we still have one day more for the 1.0.9 or it should be renamed to 1.0.10?

Well it's 8,9 &10 to be more accurate. So what is the bet for release date. I'm going for 24th October.

Eh? I am on 1.0.8.19. Or is it a different 8 that you are talking about?

An update will come when it will come. I do not understand why anyone would get so worked out about it.

1. Because my Jolla is not working correctly
2. Because I bought into the marketing promise at the outset
3. Because it is just another failed promise
4. Because comms through Jolla channels is terrible

Other than that I am pretty ambivalent now. It comes when it comes and my Jolla will sit patiently in a drawer.

Actually looking at the release schedule this one is 9, 10 and 11 as July release took the August date number.
