I've just lost loads of pictures from my N9! I tried to connect using disk drill and they are not in the trash. Weird. Not sure if this is related to 'Tracker' bug on a previous thread, apologies if not.

The N9 may shows only it's own photos in the Gallery. You can show the pictures as well. For instance Self Timer and ScreenCapture will produce "pictures" not "photos".
In the Gallery, bottom row: flower shows everything, next button pictures only. Hope it helps!

@Wallace, i tried that and used KK. I showed a handful of previous pictures, but not the dozens that disappeared previously...
@rob_kouw, i even tried it wazapp, tapped some sent images to view them and it told me the files were damaged. Not sure what gone on, i've not had any crashes at all.

If Your user dirs are broken this helps.
Or N9Qtweak has also gallery fix option...
