Pre-senility, sure. Now, not so much.

Apart from one job listing detail, I didnt see where the evidence is of Nokia making big moves in tne US. Yes the conditions might be riight and we might wish forf a big move, but the article failed to enlighten me as to the tangible evidences of the big move.

Well, I mentioned the now refuted subsidy for the N900 on TMobile, the Ovi Store implementation and Nseries and Eseries models added to at&t in the next few quarters, along with the recent collaboration with Verizon and other things that would bring Nokia's presence up in the US, where it is so small, aside from a single lame E71x commercial, no one has seen much Nokia related materials offline. Only one Nokia smartphone can be bought on subsidy in the US, and a branded model that can't run generic firmware. A carrier partner means more advertising and exposure in a market that is seeing slowdown of the Apple machine and various competitors getting the attention. In a scope, these small events mean little, but in summary, they're bolstering.

And I can report from personal experience that he knows what shade of blue is fashionable in European jeans, too!
