Qalculette : a good scientific calculator, I have it installed on my N9, it doesn't calculate limits, derivatives or integrals.
qbc : a sophisticated numerical calculator based on GNU bc. Again, it doesn't calculate limits, derivatives or integrals.
So, "Limit"/"Integral"/"Derivative" are not equally good to MathJinni, Qalculette or qbc. They are different. Not comparable. None is better or worse.
Diversity is good for Maemo / MeeGo community. That's one reason (among others) that motivates me to contribute to this great community. Other reason is to push the limits of what a smartphone/tablet can do in education & science , like SymPy on N900 making wonderful 2D & 3D plots (only smartphone that can do this), MatPlotLib for Harmattan, etc.
"Limit"/"Integral"/"Derivative" can be compared to some features of Maxima/wxMaxima (for Maemo 4 or using Easy Debian on Maemo 4 & 5 / MeeGo Harmattan). Because both use a CAS (Computer Algebra System).
Python, C/C++, Qt and CAS developer. For Maemo/MeeGo/Sailfish :
Integral, Derivative, Limit - calculating mathematical integrals, derivatives and limits. SymPy - Computer Algebra System.
MatPlotLib - 2D & 3D plots in Python. IPython - Python interactive shell.
