the n9 was supposed initially to be a more mass-market release hence the need for Aegis to attract devs to the platform. Lest you forget, commercial devs wouldn't be attracted to a platform that has no security. inception is the jailbreak equivalent whereby not all users will use it so the devs still have a market to target.

ofcourse 11/02/11 changed all that but this was the original intent.

honestly hats off too blackberry for keeping the ui innovation that started with the n9 going and supporting Qt. im a nokia n900 and n9 user SCREW nokia and elop let them dig their own grave.
