I don't know how many people nowadays remember it, but during the 1980s he made some really scary documentaries about the paranormal which used to scare me so much I couldn't sleep! (Mind you, I was little back then...)
One of the programmes used to open with a picture of a crystal skull... brrr...
Aye, it was called Arthur C Clarke's Mysterious World (remember the perspex skull?). I recall the episode about the raining frogs, and the printed versions as well. And the episodes on the Bermuda Triangle. Arthur C Clarke was the one key influence who got me really interested in the paranormal and the unusual. If anyone still has those episodes somewhere, I'd love a copy and will happily rip a set for sharing
