Hi guys, as title how can I remove the nokia logo? (I don't mean the movie boot, I mean the blue word "NOKIA" on white screen that appears when I turn on my n900).

must be a way because mine sometimes shows up silver?

It shows up before the kernel is loaded. So I guess it is not (easily) possible to remove it. It isn't a file. It's somewhere in the firmware of a soc chip. So if you wan't to remove the logo you have to do some reverse engineering and write this code yourself.

Well, there's an another logo right above the screen, so go figure :P

so...knowing the chip can I open my n900 and pull off it from the motherboard?

Yes, you're able to do something like that as long as it is your own Device.

But, don't forget: Nokia does not like such kind of modding. You will lose your waranty.
