I've tried searching the forum and googled for information on this but couldn't find anything relevant, so apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.

I have a 4gb transcend internal sd card and I've recently added a 16gb Patriot external sdhc card to my n800. However, the default media player and canalo2 are not updating when new mp3 files are added to the SDHC card. The file manager does show the files present though so it appears that the cards are working ok.

With canola2 I've tried removing and adding the card via the media settings but doesn't change anything. I cannot find a way to tell the default media player to perform a scan.

Can anyone help please?

This happened to me one time. I went into Canola's settings and disabled the location of the files that were not showing and closed the settings tab. This made Canola update its file list. I then went back into the setting tab and enabled the location of the files and let Canola update itself again. Then the files showed.

Hope this helps
